NETHAJI NAGAR

1. The Assisi Illam Orphanage and Children’s Home were started in the year 2005 with the primary financial assistance of St. Thomas Hospital. This home is run by the religious order of Franciscan Sisters of St Joseph (FSJ) and assisted by the paid staff.
   
   
2. Remembering the ideals of St. Francis of Assisi this children’s home was started. This home is doing its best to offer good services to the deprived children to make their lives bright and more meaningful.
   
   
3. The basic facilities such as residence, food, clothing and overall medical care for children are taken care by St. Thomas Hospital.
   
   
4. The children of this home are going to regular school
